Frequently Asked Questions

Packaging:

To minimize packaging waste, I package 2 pins per backing card. If
you want them to be packaged separately (for gifting reasons), please
leave me a note when checking out.

Pins are shipped out in bubble mailers.

 

Shipping:

✱Approximate arrival dates via CanadaPost/ChitChats/Asendia in IDEAL conditions. Delays may occur due to weather and/or customs.

Canada: 2-8 business days [Via CanadaPost LetterMail]
International: 6-10 business days (Asia: ~2-7 weeks) [Via Asendia/respective mail courier]
USA: 5-8 business days (Via ChitChats/USPS)

 

Preorders:

May take up to 2 months for these items to be delivered. Preordered
items need to finish production (~1 month) and I need to quality check
each item individually before mailing them off.

On the occasion you purchase a preorded item and an available item,
they will be shipped together. If you would like to receive the
available item first, please place 2 separate orders.


**Customers are responsible to pay for any customs/duty fees. I will not mark down prices on the customs sheet. That is illegal. 

You can gently straighten out the post using pliers. Remember to use very little pressure and go slowly. The post may break off if you use too much force. (I have a video on my Instagram Reel detailing how to straighten pin posts)

I always make sure that the pin posts are straight before I send them to my customers. Unfortunately, I am unable to control how the postal couriers handle the packages after I drop them off, so I do not offer refunds/replacements for bent pin posts.

I have a converter on my shop that allows you to view prices in different currencies. However, when you checkout, the prices will revert to Canadian dollars (CAD).

 

So for example, if you choose to browse the site in United States Dollar (USD); the order amount will automatically convert to Canadian dollars when you check out.

Stickers:

Canadian Sticker orders delivery options:

  • Lettermail (Untracked via CanadaPost)* - Default option. 
  • Registered Lettermail (via CanadaPost) includes tracking, delivery confirmation, signature confirmation.

International/United States Sticker orders:

  • Lettermail (untracked via CanadaPost)* - To keep shipping costs low, sticker packages do NOT come with tracking numbers. If you would like to add tracking, please message me prior to purchasing. 

*By choosing the LetterMail untracked method you are aware that there is a higher risk of lost mail. I am not liable for any lost mail if you choose this method.

 

Pins/Keychains/Lanyards:

  • All international and United States bound pin packages will come with a tracking number. Shipments will be fulfilled through ChitChats/USPS/First-Class Mail/Asendia/Respective mail courier.
     
  • CanadaPost Oversized Lettermail (untracked)
    • However, by choosing the untracked LetterMail option you are aware that once I hand over the package to CanadaPost, I will have no control over the whereabouts of the package.
    • By choosing the LetterMail untracked method you are aware that there is a higher risk of losing the package.
    • You also agree that I am not liable for any lost packages using this method.
  • CanadaPost Regular Parcel (tracked) 
    • Will provide you with a tracking number. If you would like to add signature
      delivery confirmation, please contact me before placing an order. 

Message me before purchasing and I will give you a new shipping quote. Please keep in mind that upgrading shipping does not guarantee zero delays. Unexpected postal conflicts and extreme weather conditions will cause delays.

Yes ^ ^! When you are checking out, please leave your message in the notes or "Special instructions for seller" portion. :) (All notes will be hand written) *If you message me to include a note AFTER you place the order, I may not catch it in time. Please be sure to include it IN the order.

I would love to make more pins in the future, but my budget is fairly limited. If I receive enough requests to turn a specific design into a pin; I'll open preorders for it :) 

Please check the FAQ section regarding shipping timelines. The timelines are for ideal situations, delays may occur in transit. 

CanadaPost Lettermail Untracked:

If this option was chosed for shipping, I have no way to track down the package after shipment. This shipping option is relatively reliable, but I cannot 100% guarantee the safe arrival of your package. Once it is out of my hands I have no control over the treatment of packages.

I will not be issuing refunds/replacements if CanadaPost Lettermail Untracked is chosen as the shipping option. Please select the tracked option to ensure the arrival of your package.

Yes we do! :) However, we do not collect VAT or customs fees. ComfyTofu is not responsible for any fees issued prior or upon recieving the package. Refusal to pay VAT/customs fee will result in delayed arrival or disposal of the package. We will not provide refunds or replacements for any packages that are refused.
